Ryanair Pilot Mentorship Programme:
Ab-initio applicants apply to AFTA and pass initial mentorship assessment to be placed on the programme. Successful applicants will undertake an extensive 16-month training program that involves 220 hours flight time at Cork International Airport. Trainees will receive ongoing one-on-one mentoring from a Ryanair pilot. Ryanair Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), culture and operational philosophy will be indoctrinated in the student from day one of flight training. On successful completion of the programme, the new pilots will have achieved their frozen ATPL and will gain full time employment as first officers with Europe’s largest airline Ryanair.
Stobart Air Pilot Mentorship Programme
Irish airline Stobart Air, the franchise flying partner to leading airlines including Aer Lingus Regional and Flybe, has partnered with Atlantic Flight Training Academy (AFTA) to train and recruit new pilots. Successful applicants will undertake an extensive 16-month training program that involves 220 hours flight time through Cork International Airport, with ongoing one-on-one mentoring from a Stobart Air pilot. On successful conclusion of the program, the new pilots will have achieved their commercial flying license and will gain full time employment as first officers with the Irish airline.
